| Christ's Church Method of Ministry |
Our "Bringer Method of Evangelism and Discipleship" begins when believers intentionally build relationships of integrity with unbelievers by:
1. Praying for them
2. Caring for them
3. Sharing Christ with them
It has been our experience that The Holy Spirit draws unbelievers to Himself through relationships with believers. Once the seeker makes a connection with a local church, they are then exposed to the teaching of the Word of God and the fellowship of the church community. After a believer has helped their friend get connected with the local church community, they are then responsible to see that their friend grows in Christ.
The Bringer Method gives Christians some handles on evangelism and discipleship, so they can play their part in fulfilling the church's mission. This Bringer Method of Evangelism and Discipleship places emphasis on individual believers intentionally reaching out to unchurched spiritually lost people and helping them get connected with the church community where they can repent of their sin and come to faith in Jesus Christ. As believers build friendships with unbelievers and invite them to get connected with the church community, they must continue to see to it that their once unchurched, unbelieving friend gets connected in a small group and becomes a fully devoted follower of Jesus Christ through discipleship.
The final step in the Bringer Method of Ministry, is for a believer to help their friend find a place of service in the local church and start the process over again, by reaching out to their own unchurched unbelieving friends. The critical element in this method of evangelism and discipleship is the believer's responsibility to intentionally pray for their friend and see to it that the entire process is completed, and reproduced in the disciple. |
