Christ's Church Doctrine

We adhere to the National Association of Evangelicals seven-points of faith which reads as follows:

1. We believe in the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.

2. We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

3. We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His Ascension to the right hand of the Father and in His personal return in power and glory.

4. We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful man, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.

5. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.

6. We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.

7. We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.

Affiliations
Christ's Church has affiliations (cooperation) with the Church of God of Anderson, Indiana, and the Southern Baptist Convention.

The Church of God is a non-denominational movement that was established in 1880. With over 6,401 congregations across the United States and in 83 countries, the Church of God is a growing and life-changing community of believers. The Church of God does not believe that doctrinal barriers should separate Christians one from another, and therefore seeks to make Jesus Christ the central focus of everyday life for all persons.

Since its organization in 1845 in Augusta, Georgia, the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC) has grown to over 16 million members who worship in more than 42,000 churches in the United States. Southern Baptists sponsor about 5,000 home missionaries serving the United States, Canada, Guam and the Caribbean, as well as sponsoring more than 5,000 foreign missionaries in 153 nations of the world.
